Job Description :
Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) - 126th Batch. Course Commencing 03 August 2009.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educatiion : 55% or more marks in aggregate in 10+2/equivalent examination with complusary subjects Physics and Mathematics : optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Computers.
Age Limit : Candidates to be born between 01 August 1989 1989 to 31 July 1992 (both dates inclusive)
Pay Scale : The Artifice Apprentices Basic Pay Band is Rs.5200-20200, Grade Pay @Rs.2000/- plus MSP @Rs. 2000/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay @Rs.1400/-
Process of Selection : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be of White colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22×10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the following address:
